Liam set his sights on a career as a professional actor at the age of 12 and he has worked determinedly since to reach this goal. He is a highly sought-after actor and improviser who has worked on screen, stage and commercial productions, earning many prestigious awards and attention from local, national and international filmmakers for his performances.
Appearing in his first short film whilst still at primary school, Liam is known for his TV series regular roles as Damo in “The Legend of Gavin Tanner” and Michael in “Greenfield”, the multi-award winning Scandinavian/Australian series, for which he received a “Best Actor” nomination for the West Australian Screen Awards. Recent notable feature films include Netflix’s “OtherLife” and award-winning “Hounds of Love” directed by Ben Young. The unique and engaging performances he delivered in each of these demonstrate his versatility that ensures he makes the transition between dramatic and comedic acting appear effortless.
Liam is a strong supporter of mental health awareness. Between acting projects, he works as a carer for people with an acquired brain injury. Liam was involved in the WA Youth Mental Health and Homelessness Summit in 2015, organised by the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA), and was engaged to read actual case studies to those attending the summit as a way of giving vulnerable people a 'voice'. Liam also appears in the 2018 Think Mental Health advertising campaign.
Liam is passionate about his role with The Experience Lab and the support he helps provide in the development of individuals, teams and whole organisations. He appreciates the influence of creativity and roleplay on improving the culture of workplaces and wider society.
