Angela moved to Karratha from Botswana in 2011 and uncovered her passion for acting whilst performing the lead role in her Year 11 school production. She is a reflective actor and role player who embraces the opportunities to develop personally and professionally whilst interacting with workshop participants.
Having caught the acting bug at school, Angela decided to relocate to Perth to pursue further opportunities. She enrolled in The Gap course at The Actor’s Hub to study under the direction of team member Amanda Crewes and was awarded the 2014 Actors' Hub Overall Achievement Award. Whilst she continues to train at The Actor’s Hub, Angela’s energy and talent has won her a number of roles in productions including “Tartuffe” which was performed at the State Theatre and “Once We Were Kings” at the Blue Room.
Angela relishes the many opportunities afforded to her at The Experience Lab. A sociable individual, she was particularly inspired when working with the Occupational Therapy students at Curtin University. The experience enabled her to bring bold choices to the various characters she played and she was thrilled by the feedback she received from the students in the course.
With the willingness to take risks and learn from those around her, Angela develops authentic characters that connect realistically with our workshop participants.
