Michael Sanderson-Green

Director | Facilitator | Actor

Michael Sanderson-Green combines his background as an Occupational Therapist and his talents as an actor and improviser with a wealth of experience working with people from a variety of industries – providing dynamic and practical learning for our clients.

In 1995, he left full time work in Occupational Therapy and formed two companies - the Australian Institute of TheatreSports and Sanderson-Green Personal Development Consultancy. These companies have enabled Michael to work for over 20 years within an array of workplaces – from schools, community groups, not-for-profit organisations and local government councils to oil and gas, mining, prison systems and other large and small companies across Australia. He has collaborated and worked alongside many skilled facilitators. As Creative Director he continues to bring knowledge, energy, and experience to The Experience Lab.

Michael is a versatile and intuitive improvisation actor, facilitator and roleplayer who is adept at developing concepts and ideas.  His positivity and insightful understandings of human behaviour enable him to change the energy of the room and keep participants engaged in learning. The most rewarding aspect of his work with The Experience Lab is meeting with former participants years after their training and listening to their stories of how the workshop positively altered the course of their career.

Michael has won multiple awards in TheatreSports and as an improviser and has been a performer and director of a number of successful productions at Adelaide Fringe and Fringe World Perth.
