Facilitator | Actor

Barbara has an extensive dance and acting background. The eldest of four children, she grew up in a noisy household full of acting, dancing, singing and grand debates and this was the catalyst for her pursuit of a career in the performance industry.

In her work for The Experience Lab, she has earned a reputation for being a versatile role player and real player who makes a positive impression on those around her. She has worked extensively with the Human Synergistics LSI tool with numerous organisations and speaks knowledgeably to participants about their impact on others. A highlight in her time working with The Experience Lab has been working with dedicated health professionals in WA and Darwin.

She applies the skills and knowledge gained from working in other fields to many of the projects developed and presented by The Experience Lab. Barbara gained these whilst working in the fitness industry as a business owner, as an aerobic dance instructor and in Human Resources at Murdoch University and UWA.

Theatrically, Barbara has had a wide-range of experiences as a performer, writer, director and creator. She has written and directed a range of plays for children; taught TheatreSports in schools and to community groups; and has performed at Artrage, Adelaide Fringe, Fringe World Perth and at various corporate and private functions. Barbara has previously been the coordinator of Friends of TheatreSports WA and has represented WA in the national TheatreSports' championships in Sydney.

She has an uplifting energy and finds every opportunity she has with The Experience Lab to be challenging, rewarding and hugely informative.
