Sexual Harassment & Positive Duty
Scenes that surface the bystander moment, the dismissed banter and the patterns most policies never name.

Corporate Theatre is the methodology behind the workplace training programs The Experience Lab runs across Perth and Australia. Professional actors perform calibrated scenes that show a real workplace dynamic - the bullying that compounds quietly, the harassment that gets dismissed as banter, the leadership shadow that shuts down a team. Characters carry the message. Skilled facilitators draw the learning. Learners draw their own conclusions, then practise the response.

Adults do not change behaviour because they have been informed. They change behaviour because they have recognised themselves, rehearsed the alternative and felt the consequence in a safe room. Corporate Theatre is the engine that gets them there.
Audiences disagree with people. They identify with characters. A character on stage saying the thing learners would never admit aloud is the move that opens the room.
Before learners hear a framework, they see the dynamic. The recognition - that's us, that's our meeting, that's our culture - is what makes the framework land.
Every scene is scripted, blocked and rehearsed by professional actors. The realism is engineered. The unpredictability is the audience response, not the performance.
Theatre alone is performance. Theatre plus skilled facilitation is training. Our facilitators own the room - the actors are the realism layer that gives them something real to work with.
The methodology stays constant. The scenes change to match the topic, the sector and the cohort. Each of the programs below uses Corporate Theatre as the opening move - then layers RolePlay, Rehearsal for Reality and structured facilitation on top.

See the programScenes that put the slow-burn dynamic on stage - the meeting interruption, the credit-stealer, the manager whose silence enables it.
See the programScenes calibrated to your risk register - role conflict, low recognition, poor change management, the dynamics the WHS code names.
See the programScenes that move bias from abstract concept to recognisable workplace moment - the hiring panel, the promotion conversation, the assignment of work.
See the programScenes that show leadership shadow in motion - what the senior leader projects, what the team receives, where the gap actually opens.
See the programScenes that translate values statements into recognisable workplace behaviour - the trade-off moment, the values call that gets made or ducked.
See the programMost providers who offer workplace theatre stop at the scene. The Experience Lab does not. Every program is briefed against your risk register, scripted by people who write for performance professionally, performed by actors who train continuously in workplace dynamics, and held in the room by facilitators qualified in adult learning, organisational development and compliance literacy. The scene is the start. The training is the whole engagement.
The training kept coming up in performance reviews months later. People had a shared language for what had happened in the room.

Corporate Theatre is a workplace training methodology that uses scripted scenes performed by professional actors to put a real workplace dynamic in front of learners. Characters carry the message. Skilled facilitators draw the learning. It is used across compliance, capability and culture training where behaviour change is the goal.
Skits are illustrative. Corporate Theatre is calibrated. Every scene is briefed in partnership with the client, rehearsed by trained actors, scripted to surface the specific dynamic the training needs to address, and delivered alongside structured facilitation that turns recognition into rehearsed capability.
Sexual harassment, workplace bullying, psychosocial hazards, unconscious bias, leadership shadow, values-in-action, change communication, customer service, peer support and more. The methodology holds. The scene content shifts to match the topic and the sector.
The Experience Lab delivers Corporate Theatre training across Perth, Western Australia and nationally - including FIFO sites, head offices, university faculties, government agencies, ASX-listed corporates and not-for-profit organisations.
Corporate Theatre is scripted and performed. RolePlay is improvised live with an actor who responds in role to what the learner does or says. Most of our programs use both - Corporate Theatre to open the room, RolePlay to rehearse the response.
