Looking for actors and facilitators who can hold the room.

Western Australia's most-booked experiential workplace training company. Eighty-plus Corporate Actors. Always recruiting craft we don't already have.

The Experience Lab's bench has been built over more than a decade. Rather than running open auditions, we recruit for specific gaps in the roster - cultural background, lived-experience depth, performance speciality - when we know we'll book the work. If your craft is a match, we'd like to hear from you.

Who we're looking for

What we recruit for.

Professional actors

With a real performance practice - stage, screen, festival, improv troupe. We're looking for craft, not enthusiasm. Trained voice, trained body, a working understanding of character work. Australian Equity members welcome.

Facilitators with subject-matter spine

Specialist facilitators with strong knowledge of workplace behaviour, compliance, learning design or organisational development - and the room presence to hold a session that's emotionally charged.

Cultural and lived-experience depth

We particularly welcome applications from actors and facilitators with First Nations heritage, CALD backgrounds, or lived experience of the topics our programs address. This is part of how we keep the work honest.

What it's like to work with us

The bench doesn't stand still.

  1. Continuous coaching

Every Corporate Actor on our roster receives ongoing professional development. Our methodology - Forum Theatre, Lived Experience, RealPlay, Character Interview, Rehearsal for Reality - is a learned discipline, taught and refreshed continuously by our team of experts.

  2. Variety of work

One week a Pilbara mining site, the next a hospital simulation lab, the next a financial services boardroom in Perth. The breadth of contexts is part of what keeps the work interesting.

  3. Care for our people

Psychosocial safety is built into how we hold sensitive content. De-roling protocols, content-handling agreements, debriefing time after emotionally demanding deliveries. The wellbeing of our team is a non-negotiable, not an afterthought.
